Why It’s Important: Built for Mr. Sibley of Detroit, MI. In 1948 Seaflow was purchased and brought to Seattle, WA by Stan Sayres of Gold Cup racing history. From 1950-1956 Seaflow was used as the chase boat & tow boat for Slo Mo Shun IV & V, world record hydroplanes. Seaflow was used by Sayres as the family boat on Lake Washington.
