We call it "heavy construction": serious wood replacement of keels, chines, frames and bottoms. These photos show some of our favorite examples, including an entire bottom replacement on a 28' Hacker, a 22' Hunter, a keel section on a 39' Venetian Water Taxi, a keel section on a 36' Ditchburn, and frames, transom, keel, bottom on a 50' houseboat from 1938.
