One of our all-time favorite Chris-Crafts, the 20' Custom, as it's known, was the immediate post-war luxury cruiser, built from 1946 to 1949. Many unique design features caused this model to be expensive to build. It features the pre-war 19' Barrel four panel folding windshield, and the transom is a work of woodworking art, curved in two planes.
This example was restored at Lake Tahoe several years ago, including new bottom, and has been lightly used by her current Iowa-based owners. She features burgundy vinyl upholstery, floor shift upgrade to ease shifting, her original rebuilt Chris-Craft MBL engine, a tandem axle trailer fit for the boat, and a waterline mooring cover.
