What a great big-water boat! Lots of freeboard, lots of interior room, and a varnished hull! Great to use as-is, or a really nice platform for a restoration, obviously well cared for.
Bottom looks great inside and out. Chris-Craft 283, not run since 2005, but professionally winterized then. Mercifully, the original white-painted accent on the sheer and transom has been stained and varnished. The best treatment we've seen is to satin that area blonde. useable interior, note the hints of original 1961 colors: charcoal pyramid vinyl, turquoise seats, charcoal weave-pattern flooring. Plenty of room for a third seat ahead of the engine box. Convertible top, waterline mooring cover, newer tandem axle trailer, all for $18,000.
