The first series of the Richard Arbib designed Coronado model was introduced in 1955 and continued in 1956. The optional Landau Hardtop was an elegant feature, highlighting the use of white painted surfaces on the covering boards, kingplank, and transom.
This example has benefitted from extensive owner restoration, focusing on the replacement of the bottom, which was very well executed. The topside finished leave a bit to be desired, but could likely be upgraded without stripping to bare wood. The all white interior is in serviceable, but not perfect, condition, and the seat cushions and flagpoles are missing. It's powered by the Chrysler 331 ci Hemi, which was the largest engine offered in 1955-56, with output of 200 hp (and great sound!).
Sale includes tandem axle trailer shown, and mooring cover.
Only available due to the death of the owner, and the estate wants to resolve the asset quickly, so priced to sell at $25,000
